Celebrating its grand opening in November 2013, the Outlets of Mississippi is the state's largest outlet shopping destination. Featuring more than 70 leading designer and name-brands offering savings up to 65 percent off regular retail, the outlet center also showcases Mississippi's rich history with unique displays and interactive tools for regional shoppers and tourists to explore the Magnolia State.

Motor coaches, please follow the signs in the parking lot for passenger drop-off located in the back of the Center near the American flag and Food Court. Discount coupon books may be picked up at Visitor Services located in the Management Office inside the Food Court. For groups who have booked in advance, we have food court vouchers for the drivers. Don’t know where to start when planning a trip to Jackson and the Outlets of Mississippi? Take an imaginary tour with us before you book your trip –
Itinerary 1
Have two days to spend in Jackson? Here’s the game plan – whether you arrive by Amtrak or fly into Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers Airport – Uber or drive yourself to the new Civil Rights/Historical Museums in downtown Jackson and immerse yourself in the history of the South! Get there early (they open at 9am) and plan to stay a minimum of two hours. There is SO much to explore!
Next, have a great Southern lunch at one of the following downtown locations – Hal & Mal’s, The Pig & Pint, Lou’s Full Serv, Bully’s, Mayflower Cafe - be sure to get there no later than 11:30am! Next, head over to the Old Capitol Museum or, if you are an art aficionado, to the Mississippi Museum of Art.
Next stop, let’s shop at the Outlets of Mississippi for an hour or two (guys, there is a Bass Pro Shop on the property, so don’t despair!). With over 70 brands and savings up to 70% off every day, this is THE place to shop. Outlets of Mississippi also offer an array of entertainment including axe throwing, smash rooms, escape rooms and more!
After a day like this, check into your hotel (choose from a myriad of locations in downtown Jackson such as the Fairview Inn, the Old Capitol Inn, the Hilton Garden Inn (the historical King Edward Hotel) or The Westin, before you head out to a scrumptious dinner at one of the many great restaurants in downtown Jackson, or in the Fondren or Eastover districts.
After dinner, take in some jazz or blues at Underground 119, Martin’s, Iron Horse Grill or Fenian’s Pub.
Day 2 finds us in the Belhaven district touring Eudora Welty House, one of the South’s greatest writers (check their website for tour times before you go), or head over to the Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum, or the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum right next door! Stop by the Natural Science Museum or the Mississippi Children’s Museum – there is so much to do in Jackson before moving to your next location!
Itinerary 2
Spending three days in Jackson as your home base, well aren’t you lucky! Jackson is the perfect location to launch side trips to nearby Vicksburg National Military Park, the Vicksburg Battlefield Museum, or a driving tour of historic Raymond. Or, you can head north to the GRAMMY Museum in Cleveland. You will have a great home base in Jackson to return to and you can shop again at the Outlets of Mississippi!
